I started out in entertainment
as a very young girl. Beauty pageants, dance recitals, theater, music
lessons, chorus, gymnastics, cheerleading competitions, you name it!
My first "real" modeling job came when I was about 15 yrs. old.
I modeled for my mothers vintage clothing book entitled "Psychedelic
Chic." My mom has and always will be my biggest inspiration
in life. A vintage clothing and antique jewelry collector of over 30 years,
owning stores and writing books on all her treasured collectibles. I traveled
around with her from store to store and state to state. My Dad was in
the military, so I guess you can call me an Army Brat!
I learned a lot about fashion growing up, so I guess that's why I knew
I wanted to be a fashion designer at the age of 13. Getting accepted into
The Fashion Institute of Technology may have been one of the happiest
days of my life! So I leave my small town of Hazleton Pennsylvania and
pack my bags to head to New York City. While attending FIT and studying
Fashion Design, I got approached to do acting and modeling jobs. I focused
on getting my degree and pursuing acting/modeling once I graduated. And
that's exactly what I did!
My favorite part of it all is the traveling and just doing something new
every day. A little over a year ago I shot a video for a presidential
candidate, Barack Obama. That video "Crush on Obama"
opened many doors for me and brought me to many places I had never even
dreamed of going!
